- Be responsible for establishing the strategic direction and delivery of all HR programs, practices and processes supporting talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, employee relations and employee engagement.
- Provide guidance to leaders at all levels to ensure compliance and effective people management practices.
- Establish and implement HR programs and activities that effectively communicate and support a positive work culture, including employee social and community service activities.
- Deliver comprehensive compensation and benefit programs that are competitive and cost effective.
- Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations.
- Develop talent acquisition, development, retention and succession planning initiatives that align with CFC's long-term strategic goals.
- Monitor human capital trends and analytics to anticipate future needs and ensure an engaged workforce with the skills needed to meet CFC's operational and strategic objectives.
- Manage the organization's efforts with regard to employee relations issues.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the Human Resources team.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 12 years or more years of experience in the full scope of Human Resources functions with at least five years' experience managing a team of HR professionals.
- Broad experience in and knowledge of all Human Resources activities (staffing, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits).
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
- Demonstration of high levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Ability to interact and partner with all levels of management effectively.
- Team and organizational leadership skills with capability to contribute in a hands-on manner as well as coach others.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans in the area of human capital.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Positive, empathetic approach with results-based orientation to balance organizational and employee needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
