    What you'll doAs the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager Title for Utilimaster (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our facility in Bristol, IN, you will enjoy overseeing the activity of the quality supervisors and staff and will be accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for Utilimaster's products and development processes.

    You will also be focused on ensuring that Utilimaster products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.


    You will also:

    Supervise the Quality Supervisors and their subordinates Hire and train quality supervisor staffAssist with mentoring quality associates Support positive team collaborationConduct timely and constructive performance evaluationsOversee the daily workflow and schedules of the quality assurance departmentOversee and participate in the corrective action processes (CART, PSR, SCAR) related to supplier issuesExamine quality data and utilize formal problem-solving methodologies and toolsConduct internal and supplier quality system audits Support internal quality supplier containment activities Communicate quality standards and parameters to the QA and product development teamsCoordinate product testing processes and participates in product testingIdentify and examine issues, bugs, defects, and other problems when problems recur Recommend and facilitate solutions to quality issuesReview feedback from client, customer, and usersMaintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies Learn more about The Shyft Group, Utilimaster, and Bristol, IN by exploring the Learn More section below.
