Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining quality standards.

This is a full-time position in the warehouse environment.

The Production Supervisor oversees the manufacturing activities on the production floor. Supervisors are responsible for product quality and meeting daily/weekly production rates. Supervisors are required to train, and lead by example for the production operators. They assure all the employees have all tools and materials necessary to complete their scheduled production.

This position requires a high capacity for learning and retaining details of materials and processes; a focused awareness of everything happening on the floor; strong leadership skills; and an emphasis on safety and efficiency in all tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Enforce safety requirements, including workers wearing proper PPE
  • Be knowledgeable of quality, productivity, and standards protocols
  • Lead and coordinate activities of workers
  • Responsible for production output, count accuracy, and completing MO's
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Provide a clear sense of direction and focus prior to each shift
  • Train workers and assure all SOPs are followed as required
  • Lead to assure efficient production and keep scrap as low as possible
  • Notify Plant Manager of any obstacles to achieving production rates or quality
  • Inspect equipment/tools for defects and notify maintenance of any required repairs
  • Influence and learn from below
  • Maintain a clean and organized production floor
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • Assure all documents and labels are completed per SOPs
  • Responsible for quality of all products produced. Perform quality checks throughout shift
  • Strong team building, decisionmaking, and people skills
  • Strong process orientation, production competence, and time management skills
Other duties as needed


Pay:
$ $29.00 per hour
