    GA Rogers & Associates has partnered with our Frisco based client on their search for an Income Tax Manager.

    Hybrid (One Day a Week Onsite) + Competitive Compensation + Upward Career Trajectory + Collaborative Team + Unmatched Culture

    $100,000-$130,000

    In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the company's tax compliance and managing our equity administration program. You'll oversee the preparation and timely filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns, while also researching complex tax issues and providing solutions for senior management.

    Here's what you'll do:

    • Lead the preparation and filing of tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments.
    • Prepare detailed tax provision schedules and supporting documentation.
    • Research and analyze intricate tax issues, formulating well-supported recommendations.
    • Guide and train junior staff on tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
    • Review and ensure accuracy of tax filings prepared by your team.
    • Handle communications from government agencies regarding taxes.
    • Manage all aspects of our equity program, including stock options, restricted stock awards, and employee terminations.
    • Reconcile equity activity across company records, broker records, and the Transfer Agent.
    • Track and manage new hire equity grants and online acceptances.
    • Generate monthly reports on equity activity, including exercises, vestings, grants, and cancellations.
    • Assist with annual Equity Compensation Proxy tables.
    • Help maintain strong internal controls for the tax department, adhering to SOX standards.
    • Prepare quarterly reports to support financial statement footnotes and disclosures.

    To be successful, you'll have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of tax experience.
    • A Master's degree is a plus.
    • A CPA license is strongly preferred.
    • Proven experience in tax preparation, ideally with 4+ years.
    • Proficiency in tax preparation software, with a preference for Thomson Reuters OneSource.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • A passion for accuracy and ensuring compliance with regulations.

    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $100, $130,000.00 Per Year
