    Business Analytics Associate - first Analytics hire


    Aura Intelligence offers an exciting opportunity for a junior data rockstar to work directly with management and across customer success, marketing and product.

    In this role, you will be the first Analytics hire within a fast-growing startup company.

    The ideal candidate is an ambitious self-starter with a technical background, strong influence and ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

    Role Overview


    As the first hire within Analytics, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven insights and supporting the effective utilization of Aura's workforce analytics platform.

    You will report to Aura's Head of Product and work cross-functionally to perform, communicate, and automate mission-critical analyses that inform business strategy, promote growth, and ensure client success.


    Responsibilities

    • Be the gotoperson for Analytics within Aura, committed to excellence and coaching other team members
    • Develop a deep understanding of Aura's clients' businesses, challenges, and goals to tailor data analyses to their specific requirements
    • Perform prototype analyses for customers and drive their automation by working closely with product
    • Inform critical management discussions by defining, socializing and delivering the appropriate set of metrics for each business question
    • Collaborate with the customer success team to identify opportunities for growth, retention, and process optimization through datadriven insights
    • Monitor and analyze client usage data, identifying areas for optimization and recommending datadriven best practices to drive adoption
    • Support client renewals and upsell opportunities by demonstrating the platform's ongoing value through datadriven insights and analyses

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • 23 years of work experience in a quantitative role is preferred, such as consultative or analytical role within the SaaS industry. Exceptional recent graduates are welcome to apply
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related analytical discipline). Quantitative Master's degree preferred
    • Fluency in SQL, Python, and database structures
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences
    • Proven ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
    • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
    • US work authorization is required for this role
