Position Overview:

The Strategic Analytics (SA) team is a core business support unit within the Business Operations department of NYCEDC's Asset Management (AM) Division.

SA is responsible for division-wide oversight of budgeting, financial analysis, training and policy, and process improvement, especially as it relates to leveraging available technologies to streamline and automate tasks.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the refinement of internal and external business intelligence products, including senior level reporting, frontline data collection, and back end structural development.
  • Develop and provide training and customer support for both frontline and senior management customers.
  • Cultivate and maintain familiarity with our assets and the people who manage and maintain them.
  • Provide support for projects in the form of data collection, document drafting, process mapping, interviewing, and data analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's Degree or at least 3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, and/or data management, real estate, asset management, project management or a related field
  • Experience with various Office.365 Applications including SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Lists
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, under mínimal supervision, while managing time effectively, integrating feedback, and proactively reporting progress updates
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
  • New York City residency (required within 180 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with real estate, finance, asset and/or property management
  • New York City government experience
  • PMP Certification
