Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate, Experienced or Senior Quality Engineers (level 2, 3, or 4) to join our Quality Engineering Team in Puget Sound in Washington State.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem solving, engaging with the production system and doing complex data analysis.

Quality Engineers supports existing production through process improvement techniques involving defect reduction, verification system design and improvements, and ensures compliance to requirements.

Our quality engineers get involved in complex engineering and production challenges and have a critical role in the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products and production system.

Position Responsibilities:
Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher2+ years of experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusionsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience9+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems through diverse approachesExperience with Engineering and Change ProcessesExperience researching engineering drawings and requirementsPrior working experience in multi-functions (quality engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, system engineering, design engineering, etc)

Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) Blackbelt certifiedDesign for Six Sigma (DFSS) Greenbelt or Blackbelt certifiedExperience in data analyticsExperience leading cross-functional teamsMaster's or Doctorate of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited schoolTypical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2):Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
