- Applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information.
- Possesses a solid understanding of not-for-profit accounting principles.
- Reconcile balance sheet account as assigned.
- Proficient in leadership competencies related to leading self.
- Monthly analysis, journal entries, and reconciliation of various revenue/expense and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules including financial statements and disclosures for the Foundation.
- Assist with the generation of information for outside accounting firm in preparation of the annual 990-T returns for the Foundation.
- Manage the monthly closing of the Foundation books.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Must be well organized.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of standard financial concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Must be able to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to succeed with managing change in a complex organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft products
- Experience preferred with Microsoft Dynamics D365
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- At least 3-5 years financial related work experience.
