    About you

    An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Sterilisation Technician or Perioperative Nurse with previous management experience for the role of CSSD Manager.

    Working across two sites this role includes managing Lingard Operating Theatre and Lingard Day Centre.

    You will work closely with the Perioperative Service Manager to ensure an efficient and high standard service to the operating theatres, catheterisation labs and endoscopy suites.

    Ensuring high standards always maintained whist adhering to all required legislations and guidelines. An in-depth understanding of the AS:4187 and the changes required to meet AS:5369 is essential.
    TAFE Certificate III in Health Service Assistant (Sterilisation) OR Nursing Registration with AHPRA
    Minimum 5 years' experience in sterilisation in healthcare OR perioperative theatre experience
    Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
    Friendly and approachable attitude
    IT skills including use of computerised reporting systems
    Highly motivated and demonstrate initiative
    Excellent understanding of current infection control requirements and guidelines
    Exceptional understanding of AS4187 and changes for AS5369
    Previous experience in a similar role
    Qualification in Healthcare management or working towards
    You will also require
    National police check completed in the last 3 months
    Working with Children Check for employment
    Proof of Immunisation against infectious diseases including Covid-19
