The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets.

JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.


We have a near-term need for Senior and Mid-level Supply Chain Cybersecurity Resilience Analysts to support the Cyber Warfare Directorate within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Platform and Weapon Portfolio Management.

This role is located at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.


Responsibilities:

The Cyber Warfare Directorate provides cybersecurity and cyberspace operations expertise for the entirety of OUSD(A&S). In this role, you will provide technical analyses and assessments of Supply Chain cybersecurity-related risk.

You will assist government personnel in the development and refinement of SCRM-related metrics, risk mitigation options, and the development of a Whole-of-Government approach to addressing the risk arising from foreign ownership/control/influence (FOCI) of National Security Systems.

In addition, you will meet and coordinate broadly across DoD with SCRM cybersecurity stakeholders and support efforts to improve collaboration with the Defense Industrial Base vendors.


Qualifications:

Required:


  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and/or supply chain analysis
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of cyber attack and cybersecurity trends, including emerging TTPs and tools
  • Experience developing executivelevel briefings, information memorandum, and white papers
  • Basic knowledge of the interdependencies between IT, cybersecurity, cyberspace operations, and how they draw upon the DoD Risk Management Framework
  • Basic understanding of DoD contracting and acquisition processes
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management authorities, including those specified in the FY19 NDAA Sections 889 and 1655, and 10 USC 2339a
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
