When reporting to the office, this location offers FREE parking and is located near Folsom Lake, Historical Folsom, shopping, eateries, and walking trails.
This office is adjacent to California State Prison, not located on prison grounds.
The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs the more complex technical analytical and technical staff work of average complexity relating to Position Control within the personnel office.
This position is responsible for the management of position control activities to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, laws, and rules.
This position will also perform the more complex analytical tasks researching and resolving complex position management issues and act as a resource for CALPIA staff and provides consultative services and recommendations to management.
This position is also being considered at the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) level. ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST
The California Prison Industry Authority(CALPIA) is a self-supporting state agency thatprovides productive work opportunities andjob skills to incarcerated individuals to reduce recidivism andincrease public and prison safety.
In the event of a medicalstate of emergency CALPIA will follow Public Health Orders issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and issue departmental directives which may include guidance from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation andCalifornia CorrectionalHealthcare Services.
Upon a conditional job offer, the selected candidate will be required to clear live scan, a tuberculous (TB) test, and physical (if applicable).
This position is subject to reasonable suspicion drug testing pursuant to 2 CCR §
