    Function

    We're looking for an experienced System Engineer to join our client's team, a professional who can ensure the seamless operation of IT systems and services.

    This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our client's technological infrastructure. Here's what you can expect.


    Mission:
    Guarantee the availability of IT systems and services, particularly focusing on Microsoft products within a VMware environment.

    Conduct installation, management, maintenance, and updating of servers and clients, both at the production site and the fallback.

    Provide effective assistance to internal users and customers, adhering strictly to SLAs.

    Offer support to department colleagues in specialized areas, while cross-training to develop skills for potential role substitution.

    Engage in qualitative analysis of new market products and services.

    Proactively suggest new technologies aimed at enhancing management efficiency or reducing costs.

    Oversee daily operations within the Windows and VMware domains.


    Profile:
    A master's or bachelor's degree in computer science.

    At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

    A strong foundation in general computing and expertise in technologies such as:

    Virtualization:
    VMware, vSphere, vCenter, SRM, VDI.

    Windows Servers:
    Active Directory, DC, IIS, SCCM, MCSC, WSUS.

    Tools:
    McAfee ePO, PowerShell, VBScript, batch scripts, etc.

    Additional knowledge in network technologies and Linux/Unix is highly appreciated.

    Key personal attributes include involvement, team spirit, responsiveness, organization, and rigor, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.

    Proficiency in both French and English is essential.

    Willing to travel 3 days a week onsite in Brussels, combined with telework.
