    Description

    Who We Are

Stytch is the most powerful identity platform built for developers and the leading alternative to Auth0. In our mission to eliminate friction on the internet, we give developers the best tools to build robust authentication, authorization, and fraud prevention into applications, all while elevating the user experience.

As a Technical Product Marketing Manager at Stytch, you will help position Stytch's developer infrastructure as a leader in the next wave of application infrastructure. Product Marketing is a highly strategic function at Stytch – organizing the entire company around launches, content creation, and go-to-market efforts.

    What Excites You

    • Positioning technical products - You love spending time internally with engineers and product owners and externally with the software development community in order to craft the most clear, credible, and compelling product messaging.
    • Building empathy for customers - You want to deeply understand the customer's business, software development stack, workflows, and jobs to be done. You're excited to uncover their core problems, identify potential solutions, and find them the fastest path to success.
    • Inspiring and empowering others - You get excited about teaching others what you've learned and helping them increase their impact as product managers, sales engineers, account managers, and marketers.
    • Creating content - Whether it's a new sales deck, a technical video diving into a new use case, or a press release for a product launch, you enjoy crafting a compelling story and creating content that resonates with your target audience
    • Digging into the details - You take great pride in your work,,obsess over the details, and prioritize for impact.

    What excites us

    • You have some experience with developing software. Maybe it was a Python bootcamp, or you picked up coding as a weekend hobby, or you have a CS degree. It doesn't really matter how you got there, we just love to see that interest in building things with code.
    • You're a natural storyteller and an excellent communicator who easily explains complex, technical concepts with examples, analogies, diagrams, and stories.
    • You enjoy writing and public speaking and you can point to work you're proud of.
    • You're a skilled project manager that not only builds the strategy for projects such as feature launches, but you also know how to work across the organization to get it done.
    • You have 3+ years of experience in a technical Product Marketing role or equivalent

    What success looks like

    • Product launches - Launch products and features to market. Work with product and sales to develop a strategy, align the company on a plan, and then take the reins to manage the entire effort.
    • Sales enablement - Work with sales managers to develop and execute an enablement plan. Then, build the pitch decks, product training, and customer-facing content that sales needs to educate our customers.
    • Adoption lifecycle and persona research : Conduct customer research and develop buyer personas to share with executives and product partners. Launch new features:
    • Competitive intelligence : Conduct competitive and market analysis by analyzing win/loss rates, qualitative customer interviews, and external competitor research and synthesize into competitive battlecards
    • External product roadmap: Synthesize market, customer success, and sales needs to help inform and develop the product roadmap for the Marketing Campaign
    • Content creation - Learn how Stytch customers adopt the platform, identify where content is needed to help them move faster, and then produce that content. Work with the rest of the marketing team to maximize distribution of this content through appropriate channels, evaluate results, and iterate quickly.
    • Community engagement and leadership : Actively engage with and lead our developer community. This involves not just representing our brand, but also becoming a trusted voice within the community. This means organizing and participating in community events, forums, and discussions, both online and in person, to gather insights and share knowledge about Stytch's products.

Expected base salary is between $130,000 and $175,000. The anticipated base salary range is not inclusive of full benefits including equity, health care insurance, time off, paid parental leave, etc. This base salary is accurate based on information at the time of posting. Actual compensation for hired candidates will be determined using a number of factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.

We're looking to hire a GREAT team and that means hiring people who are highly empathetic, ambitious, and excited about building the future of user authentication. You should feel empowered to apply for this role even if your experience doesn't exactly match up to our job description (our job descriptions are directional and not perfect recipes for exactly what we need).

We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workspace where everyone (regardless of age, education, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any personal characteristics) feels like they belong. We look forward to hearing from you
