    Exciting opportunity as a Professional Development Coordinator in our Corporate Group based in Nashville.

    Responsibilities:
    • Monitor practice group trends and client updates for Managing Director (MD) and attorneys
    • Organize and participate in practice group luncheons, assisting in preparing meeting agendas and scheduling, as well as other event details
    • Have weekly meetings with designated P&BDM and MD
    • Gain a thorough understanding of practice group objectives and collaborate with P&BDM and MD on executing Marketing and Business Development strategies
    • Aid in responding to practice RFPs and maintaining RFP log
    • Create pitch books for attorneys, monitor progress/results of new business pitches
    • Develop targeted lists for practice group communications, events, email alerts, etc.; Coordinate with Marketing Manager, Technology for list upkeep
    • Manage practice group seminars and events end-to-end, collaborating with P&BDM and MD, as well as attorneys on content and agenda creation, mailing lists, invitations, materials, registration, CLE credit applications, etc.; liaise with conference services department for logistics
    • Track practice-specific metrics for reporting to firm management, MD, and practice leaders
    • Assist in devising and implementing a content strategy for practice-specific digital and print media, encompassing social media, blog, website, e-newsletters, etc.
    • Support Marketing Manager, Communications in public relations endeavors, attorney rankings, and directory submissions
    • Engage in Business Development & Marketing onboarding for new and lateral attorneys
    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate for the Business Development Coordinator role will possess:

    • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) and 3-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, prior experience in legal or professional services sector is preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with diverse attorneys and administrative staff, and projecting a professional demeanor representing the firm
    • Demonstrated strong work ethic and adaptability to fulfill the role's requirements
    • Capability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and take initiative
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
    • Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel
    • Willingness to learn and use additional software applications (CRM, Marketing Automation, web tools, etc)
