    About the Job:

    Dicks Drive-In is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and drive our digital presence to new heights. As an iconic fast-food establishment with a storied 70-year history and a passionate customer following, we are committed to engaging our audience across various social media platforms, fostering meaningful connections, encouraging memory-making, and amplifying our brand's voice. Our brand is bigger than our physical footprint.

    The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, a keen understanding of platform trends and a knack for crafting compelling content that resonates with our diverse audience. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for storytelling, a finger on the pulse of social media culture and the community, we invite you to join us in shaping the digital narrative of Dicks Drive-In.

    This position requires in-person presence, fostering a deep understanding of the Dicks Drive-In culture, cultivated by our core values. A successful candidate will be frequently available on weekends and/or evenings to participate in customer engagement activities.

    For those applicants selected to move to round 1, you will be invited to complete an online social media skill assessment. Our comprehensive application process consists of 3 rounds to select candidates who best align with our values and possess the skills needed to excel in this role.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Social Media Implementation

    • Execute the Dicks Drive-In social media strategy to deliver a content plan that engages audiences and drives engagement and new followers on all social media platforms
    • Ownership of posting across all key social media platforms as necessary (Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok)
    • Oversee the performance of both organic and paid campaigns, conduct comprehensive analysis, and present detailed reports to the team
    • Utilize insights gained to inform future post and campaign strategies

    Community Engagement

    • Interact with the Dicks Drive-In online community, respond to comments and messages promptly and professionally, and foster a positive social media environment
    • Participate and provide onsite support at in-person customer engagement activities, onsite and offsite, to foster relationships with loyal brand customers

    Content Curation

    • Collaborate with the Dicks Drive-In marketing team to create compelling social media posts, maintaining the brand voice that resonates with our target audience
    • Actively participate in providing feedback on design work created for social media. Design experience not required but highly valued
    • Capture spontaneous moments at Dicks Drive-In sponsored and/or local events, able to create compelling content on the fly, little to no post-production work needed
    • Curate brand-aligned content for social media platforms, including but not limited to images, videos, and written posts that reflect our core brand values to share with the team
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify emerging trends and key areas of focus that align with our marketing objectives

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years experience in social media marketing, experience in paid social campaign management is not required but highly valued
    • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and trends
    • Able to proactively address potential issues while keeping manager informed
    • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Google Suite
    • Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
    • Creativity, attention to detail, and an eye for visual content
    • High energy and a positive, can-do attitude
    • Able to work independently and in a team setting
    • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
    • Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment

    • Ability to review, understand, and follow project budget and timelines
    • Ability to adapt to the role as the companys needs evolve
    • Collaborate effectively across internal and external teams
    • Interpersonal skills are necessary in order to communicate in person, by email and telephone and follow the instructions effectively, internally and externally

The employee must regularly talk or hear on the telephone and in person with individuals and groups. The employee must rarely lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Extensive keyboard typing is required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, extensive computer screen work, and the ability to adjust focus to produce or review reports.

    This position requires periodic local travel using a personal vehicle.

    This position will require frequent participation in weekend and/or evening events.
