    Description

    The Sr. Talent Management Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and measuring the outcomes of different talent management programs across the organization. This role will work with HR Leadership and department leaders to facilitate the creation and adoption of new talent programs and initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of Paycom employees.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the deployment of multiple talent management programs that could include but not limited to competencies, skills architecture, career development, selection, succession planning and performance management
    • Establish and outline a program's strategy and its objectives and oversee list of dependent projects that are needed to reach the program's goals
    • Coach and work alongside the HR team members to leverage relationships within the business and influence effective participation and success measurement of talent management programs
    • Consult with and coach business leaders regarding talent needs, advisement of the implications of talent related decisions, and to recommend talent solutions to solve employee needs
    • Collaborate with internal HR functions such as compensation, HR business partners and talent acquisition to develop competency frameworks that impact performance management, compensation, and leadership development
    • Utilize external market data to help create alignment of functions and job families while assigning values to jobs and creating job titling convention for clear common language
    • Lead and align project teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective development and delivery of programs, policies, and processes
    • Build, manage, and leverage positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders and peers
    • Drive progress of the talent development initiatives and provide updates to HR leadership, including progress completion status, outcome assessments and recommend changes based upon participation or survey collection
    • Observe and provide feedback and coaching to less experienced talent management specialists
    • Performs research as necessary to stay knowledgeable of relevant talent trends and practices to ensure Paycom is competitive in their talent development methodology
    • Providing functional expertise to identify, research, and resolve complex problems
    • Create requirements for promotions and long term career growth

    Qualifications

    Education/Certification:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field

    Experience:

    • 5+ years of related experience in human resources, recruiting, talent development or project management

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience:

    • Specific experience in talent management programs including succession planning, performance management, or workforce planning, job design, career pathing
    • Experience managing large projects or processes with limited oversight
    • Experience as a job analyst or occupational analyst
    • Job architecture
    • Experience as a business analyst is a plus

    Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively with audiences at all levels of the organization
    • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Job Analysis
    • Knowledge in FLSA
    • Proficiency in Talent Management Software Applications
    • Artificial intelligence is a plus
