    Job Title : project Manager
    Location: Tallahassee, FL
    Duration: 6+ months
    Type: Contract

    Job Description:

    This scope of work is for project management services to coordinate project and business analysis activities related to the. The Contractor will provide these services to the Department.
    Responsibilities:
    • Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
    • Collaborate with the Department's lead and workgroup of the Enterprise Data Modernization
    • Initiative (EDMI) to prioritize the efforts related to the EDMI as directed by the Department.
    • Develop and maintain project artifacts (project plans, status reports, and others) related to the
    • projects being managed as assigned by the Department.
    • Develop and maintain application documentation (business analysis related like diagrams, flow
    • charts, requirements documents, and others) for the applications for data modernization as
    • assigned by the Department.
    • Facilitate collecting system requirements with the business program staff as assigned by the
    • Department.
    • Perform needs analysis, analyze business processes, develop process maps, and assist project
    • team members in all phases of the projects as assigned by the Department.
    • Develop test cases and test plans and conduct user acceptance testing as assigned by the
    • Department.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff as assigned by the
    • Department.
    • Facilitate meetings with technical and program staff as assigned by the Department (i.e.,
    • schedule meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action items).
    • Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams, EMDI lead and workgroup, and
    • other stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status as assigned by the
    • Department.
    • Actively participate in project status meetings as assigned by the Department.
    • Follow DOH IT processes and coordinate with other DOH IT staff to ensure compliance with DOH
    • standards and guidelines (like the Department Project Management Office Policies and
    • Procedures) as directed by the Department.
    • DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK:
    • The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply at all times with all
    • Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as
    • specified in the Data Security and Confidentiality document attached to the purchase order.
    Required:
    • Five years of project management experience.
    • Five years of experience communicating project updates both orally and in written form with technical
    • staff, executive management, and user staff.
    • Five years of experience with facilitating current state or application analysis sessions and documenting
    • applications through use case process documents and workflow diagrams.
    • Five years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation.
    • Five years of experience with meeting facilitation and documentation.
    • Five years of experience with the use of Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel.
    • Five years of experience developing project plans.
    • Five years of experience with creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailed
    • status reports suitable for presentation to the management team.
    • Five years of experience tracking work tasks and maintaining project schedules (including work
    • breakdown structures).
    • Five years of experience with risk tracking, mitigation, and issue tracking.
    • Five years of experience with delivering projects as per agreed schedule, as per the current technical
    • specification (within scope), and within the approved budget.
    • Seven years leading data or system modernization projects in a state government domain/agency.
    • One year of experience working with health Information Technology systems.
    • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
