    Description

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead team in project execution, from early-phase studies to continuing to support the engineering team through the detailed design phase.
  • Understand the steps of project development and be familiar with the traditional phased approach to industrial projects
  • Understand the level of detail required in each step of project development.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Have the desire and ability to lead/mentor other staff mechanical engineers.
  • Prepare cost estimates and/or appropriation request for capital projects.
  • Point of contact for clients to ensure design meets their needs and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain client relations.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of applicable experience in the oil/gas/refining/petrochemical industry.
  • Licensed professional engineer is preferred
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
