- Offer general support for BIM and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) implementation across the Firm Project Portfolio and Sustainment Tasks.
- Collaborate with Consultants and Sub-consultants to ensure the latest BIM/CAD standards are in place.
- Maintain software template files to uphold standards.
- Manage access rights to server and cloud-based data sources, conducting access audits quarterly.
- Support digital document archiving and retrieval for projects.
- Assist project teams in setting up BIM/CAD projects using Company templates, workspaces, libraries, and more.
- Enforce company drafting and modeling standards and procedures.
- Provide BIM/CAD support to Architects and Engineers for project and sustainment requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams on implementing and enforcing BIM standards.
- Evaluate, test, and suggest new BIM software and technologies to enhance production efficiency.
- Review CAD/Revit files for project closure.
- Demonstrated experience with Revit across various project scales and familiarity with implementing BIM standards in a Revit-based workflow.
- Experience or knowledge of implementing CAD standards in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with Rhino, Maya, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling software.
- Knowledge of Navisworks and clash detection tools.
- Experience in managing the lifecycle of BIM models.
- Proficiency in BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Studio Sessions for collaboration.
- Experience in importing/exporting metadata from models into lifecycle management tools.
- Experience with BIM 360 suite.
- Basic understanding of GIS systems.
- Basic knowledge of BSD Spec Link & Linkman-E.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu/Extreme software and collaboration management.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Architecture or Engineering.

The main role of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist is to oversee the BIM process for a diverse project portfolio in a multidisciplinary Architectural and Engineering (A/E) environment. You will collaborate closely with team members, other departments within Disney, IT support, and external vendors to identify and resolve issues. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to team members from various disciplines, enabling them to utilize the necessary technology for their tasks effectively.
This position will report to the manager of Project Design Support in Facilities Asset Management.
