    Position SummaryAs the Associate Materials Manager, you will collaborate within the materials and logistics team as a leader and resource for our Williamsburg Township factory.

    You will actively lead within a team that provides the highest quality ingredients at the most optimal levels for the lowest cost while supporting the development and achievement of Materials Department strategy.

    Seeks opportunities for continuous improvement within the team. Works cross-functionally with plant associates and suppliers to ensure successful operations.

    Responsible for supporting the development and onboarding of associates within the Materials department, as well as collaborateand network with other factory resources to provide development opportunities within the Materials team.

    Provide coaching to associates on proper vendor relations, materials management, and inventory control. Acts as a leader for Culture of Safety and Standards within the factory. Manage ingredient pipelines in accordance with corporate guidelines. Collaborate closely with Materials Manager and members of the leadership team to ensure that materials meet compliance standards. Monitor commodity and freight markets to be prepared in making economical purchases and decisions. Coach and uphold department business standards to successfully pass governmental, divisional, and/or plant-initiated audits. Support implementation of strategies that ensure each product's raw material costs are at a minimum.


    Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field 3+ years' experience in materials planning, logistics, purchasing or related, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution, or military environmentPreferred: 1+ year leadership experienceDon't meet all the qualifications listed under "other"? These are preferred, but not required.

    The approximate pay range for this position is $64,000-$96,000.

    Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
