- Seek opportunities for continuous improvement within the team while working cross-functionally with plant associates and suppliers to ensure successful operation.
- Responsible for supporting the development and onboarding of associates within the Materials department, as well as collaborateand network with other factory resources to provide development opportunities within the Materials team.
- Provide coaching to associates on proper vendor relations, materials management, and inventory control.
- Acts as a leader for Culture of Safety and Standards within the factory.
- Manage ingredient pipelines in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with Materials Manager and members of the leadership team to ensure that materials meet compliance standards.
- Monitor commodity and freight markets to be prepared in making economical purchases and decisions.
- Coach and uphold department business standards to successfully pass governmental, divisional, and/or plant-initiated audits.
- Support implementation of strategies that ensure each product's raw material costs are at a minimum.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
- 3+ years' experience in materials planning, logistics, purchasing or related, preferably within a manufacturing, distribution, or military environment
- 1+ year leadership experience

Position Summary
As the Associate Materials Manager, you will collaborate within the materials and logistics team as a leader and resource for our Williamsburg Township factory.
