About Teneisha Jones:
As a passionate arts administrator with a master’s degree in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management and hands-on experience developing public art programs and events, I am seeking a role that will both challenge and inspire me.
I have thrived in creative, collaborative environments, working closely with artists, communities, and multidisciplinary teams. Some highlights in my professional journey have been:
- Advocating for public art funding to municipal leadership and councils.
- Contributing to the GA Arts Council’s Public Art Toolkit
- Participating in the GMA / Metro Atlanta Cities Wellbeing Initiative (MACWI)
- Serving as the spokesperson for public art for the City of Chamblee, GA.

- Develops & manages community engagement initiatives, arts programs, and live arts events with a yearly budget of $165k USD.
- Prepares and presents reports to management, Mayor & City Council, outside agencies, and the public.
- Curates impactful creative initiatives in partnership with Artists, the Public Arts Commission, and City Management Stakeholders.
- Directs the development of Requests for Proposal/Qualifications (RFP/RFQ) and oversees artist selection processes/procurements

- Oversees and manages all volunteers, support staff, contractors, and vendors.
- Acts as key spokesperson and creator for all public-facing arts-related communication and marketing, including promotion, social media, and branding.
