Education / Training
About Rochelle Reynard:
My two-and-a-half-years of experience as a nursing student, two-and-a-half-years as an English major, completion of a post-graduate education program, fulfilling T.U.’s requirements for a Master’s in Liberal Arts, coupled with my twenty-plus years of experience in the workplace, including that of a 7th-grade English Language Arts teacher and 6th-grade Advisory teacher, has not only given me exceptional management, organizational, coaching, teaching, reading, and writing skills, but also insight and experience in working with a wide range of personalities, nationalities, and ethnicities. I would like to offer my analytical and critical thinking abilities, along with my broad educational background and experience, to educate, inspire, and further students in their life journeys.
Experience
After earning my teaching certification in English Language Arts for grades 7-12th, I regularly worked as a substitute teacher throughout Delaware County. I frequented Springfield School District, Rose Tree Media School District, Upper Darby School District, and Christina School District in Delaware. Also during this time, I wrote short stories and a historical fiction novel, White-Tailed Eagles Rising, about my grandmother’s experience as a WWII freedom fighter in the Polish Underground Army, set to be released this summer. Then during Co-vid, I attended and worked for John Pallotta’s School of Film Acting in Philadelphia, a position which amounted to a background role in HBO’s hit series, Mare of Easttown. Then this last school year (2022-2023), I worked as a co-teacher for 7th-grade English Language Arts and a regular teacher for 6th-grade Advisory. Therefore, I have broad experience in both teaching a wide range of topics—from reading to writing and from algebra to health—and working alongside people from all different walks of life.
