Paul Meyers

I have more than 26 years of experience in mathematics educational publishing. In my current position at ACT, I write and edit high-quality math items for various testing programs. I also perform thorough reviews and provide feedback for items developed by freelance item writers or other mathematics content specialists. Prior to my current position at ACT, I spent 16 years developing test-prep and standards-based materials for different states, including the Common Core State Standards. As an editorial assistant and project editor, I have written numerous student workbooks, practice tests, and teacher guides to cover the tested standards for each state. As a senior editor, I have managed the development of more than 125 mathematics workbook sets. I have experience managing a team of editors, working with freelance writers, creating schedules, evaluating job performance of editors and freelancers, managing a budget, conducting interviews, hiring editors, and meeting tight deadlines. I have a great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
