Makayla Davis

Hello, I'm Makayla Davis! I'm a freshman In college, and I am looking for a summer nannying opportunity. I love working with kids and helping them grow. I enjoy finding things that kids are passionate about and helping them explore their creative side. I have years of experience working with kids. Throughout high school I was an assistant toddler teacher, this helped me gain a large amount of skills. I learned how to comfort kids, provide them with all they need, along with dealing with different behaviors kids have. This job helped me gain lot's of experience, and showed me how to be patient, responsible, reliable, and helped me become extremely educated. The daycare environment exposed me to a lot of different types of children, and helped me gain the skills to help each individual child's needs. Along with working in a daycare I had an internship with a second grade class. Working in an elementary school helped me get familiar with that age group, and grow relationships with each kid, helping them succeed in a classroom setting. Recently my sister gave birth to a beautiful girl, and during her maternity leave I was her extra pair of hands and helped her navigate taking care of a baby. This experience helped me gain a large amount Of knowledge.On top of all these wonderful experiences I have baby sat kids, ranging from infants to middle school. All of these experiences have helped me become interpersonal, creative, and full of experience.
