trusses, running electrical wiring, installing siding, running heavy machinery such as skid steers and

• Constructed a barn with tasks varying from measuring out the building space, pouring concrete bases for
posts, building doors and windows, running water hoses and electrical wiring, applying siding, setting
rafters, running heavy machinery such as skid steers and excavators.
• Rebuilt front end of a 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle with new inside and outside fenders, new grille for a 1970
Chevelle, new engine components, new front bumper for 1970 Chevelle, and running new electrical
wiring.
• Rebuilt and maintained 1978 Chevrolet Malibu with new rear axle and differential, new upper and lower
control arms, new air lift suspension, new 434 small block engine, new brake pads and rotors, new tie
rod and torsion keys, new gauges in the interior, and a new floor shifter.

● Operated hand tools such as hammers, chisels, planes, and sanders to create
smooth surfaces. Removed surface defects with sanding tools, knives, and scrapers.
● Installed windows, doors, and hardware safely and efficiently. Cut and installed wooden trusses
and rafters.
● Performed accurate measurements and calculations to ensure proper fit of
components. Utilized tape measure and template to measure and mark location of studs
and leaders.
● Utilized power tools such as saws, drills, and routers to cut and shape wood
according to specifications.
● Measured and marked cutting lines on materials, using rulers, pencils, chalk,
and marking gauges.
● Maintained a clean working environment while adhering to safety regulations.
D & L Automotive/ Shop Assistant
