Harper Block

My name is Harper Block, and I am an experienced Event Coordinator based in Columbus, Ohio but originally from Minnesota where I am excited to be moving back soon. I have had the privilege of coordinating a wide variety of events at my current role, these include corporate functions as well as weddings, ranging in size from 30 to over 200 guests. My expertise lies in client communication, ensuring each event runs smoothly and that all of my client's needs are met. I pride myself on my ability to coordinate all aspects of an event, from catering to AV needs to decor all in a timely and professional manner. I am excited to bring my skills and my passion for events to new opportunities as I transition back to my favorite state of Minnesota. 

I have experience in the sales side of events, as well as the actual coordination aspect. I have worked as a Sales and Event Rep at the Columbus Zoo, pulling in new corporate clients and planning their meetings and outings to the zoo. This has allowed me to gain expertise on how to communicate with clients and ensure they are feeling supported enough to book and hold events. In my current role as an event coordinator at BTTS Holding Inc in Columbus, Ohio, I have had the opportunity to work with corporate, and wedding clients, meeting with them from the day they book up to working their actual event. This has made me confident in my ability to work with the needs of any client and ensure their day is exactly what they expected. I am their single point of contact to ensure AV, DJ, florals, catering and anything else they need is executed. 

I graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a minor in Hospitality & Management.
