About Damion Green:

My Name is Damion Green, I am excited to submit my application for the Executive Chef position, Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of growing my culinary career within the walls Applebrook Golf Club, from my early days as a line cook to my most recent role as Executive Chef. This journey has not only honed my technical and creative skills but also deepened my understanding of the club’s traditions, members’ expectations, and the high standards that define the dining experience.

Throughout my tenure, I have overseen the transformation of our menus to reflect both timeless classics and innovative seasonal offerings. I have led a kitchen team of 15 professionals, fostering a culture of precision, collaboration, and pride in our craft. My focus has always been on delivering consistently exceptional cuisine while ensuring efficiency, cost control, and the seamless execution of member events ranging from intimate dinners to large-scale galas.

What sets my leadership apart is my commitment to mentoring staff and elevating the entire culinary program. Many of our current sous chefs, and station leads began their careers here under my guidance, and I take great pride in cultivating talent that strengthens the club’s reputation year after year.

I believe my unique combination of long-standing institutional knowledge, culinary creativity, and proven leadership makes me an ideal candidate to continue leading this kitchen into its next chapter of excellence.
