Prime Student Brand Manager

Being a Prime Student Brand Manager on Mizzou's campus has allowed me to learn how an individual develops their own style to social media marketing and enhances it. Amazon provides us with marketing materials and education courses to learn how to effectively market their products and benefits, and we are given full creative freedom on what trends we would like to partake in (and what ones we would like to create) to help boost brand engagement and sign-ups for Prime Student. Each week, we complete user research and develop data reports on how our content performed. From there, we analyze how our content can change and attract more impressions for the following week. This job always has me on my toes to learn the newest trends and see how a typical college student (like me) can incorporate brands into digital fun of feeling more connected with their audience and establishing trust and consistency through a screen!

Mizzou Digital Ambassador

Mizzou Digital Ambassadors are current Mizzou students that collaborate and learn more about the role of philanthropy in higher education while developing digital storytelling and visual media skills. We are commissioned by different departments at the University of Missouri to create video content that inspires philanthropic giving to service and support a certain cause. We work with a marketing company based out of Minneapolis called {{firstname}} to produce project plans and execute video production. A recent example of a project I completed is through Mizzou Botanic Garden regarding the Legacy Oaks on our campus quad. From the video I produced, we were able to raise more than enough money to safely replace the oak trees on Mizzou’s quad this past summer. Now, the quad harbors new and strong trees that will see students come and go for the next few generations. 

PINK Campus Representative

The PINK Campus Representative Program is led by two main student reps who hire a team of five students (PINK Campus Team) to work alongside them to bring the PINK brand to campus. This past year, I had the opportunity to work as a main student rep on Mizzou’s Campus. We lead the Campus Team in hosting marketing events and being active in the community through wellness, community service, and paying it forward. This job has allowed me to collaborate with my community and service it well through volunteer initiatives and fundraising. I also have gotten to learn real world marketing tactics, graphic design, social media marketing, product design, talent acquisition, and so much more. I run our social pages on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram with a total following of almost 5,000 people. We participate in trends, complete corporate social posts and requests, and have the creative freedom to build a well-marketed social presence to bring awareness and higher sales numbers to the PINK brand. Before I was hired as the lead rep, I worked as the Community Outreach Coordinator on the PINK Campus Team. Obtaining this position has allowed me to service the people around me by organizing fundraisers for feminine products, hosting clean up events for earth day, raising money to give low income communities school supplies, and gifting fellow students packages of appreciation to spread kindness. I also learned how to conduct business matters over social media and create contracts for company partnerships and collaborations.
