Brian Knapp

I am a seasoned collections and fiscal specialist with a solid backgound in finance.  Currently I am a collections investigator for the City of San Diego and am in charge of the collection of delinquent Transient Occupancy Taxes (TOT). I  also handle collections for all city related debt (Rental taxes, Parking Citations, Property Damage, Fire department  inpection and event fees, etc.). I have experience in banking, brokerage firm account management and services, payroll, and accounts payable.  I am eager to learn and I enjoy new challenges.

I have 7 years of collections experience in the public sectors more substantially with the City of San Diego but also for the City of Chula Vista.  I started my career in banking and sucessfully transition to brokerage account management during the recession ‘07-’09.  

Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University Chico.
