Alyssa Johnson

I am a student at SIUE. I study psychology as well as biology. I am hoping to become a psychiatrist one day and own my own practice. I have experience in inpatient clinical units and have a passion for helping people. 

I recently worked in an inpatient psychiatric unit as a Patient Care Technician, gaining experience in the field of treating disorders while working under the direction of the nurse. I gained experience utilizing EPIC and inputting data into the system. Previously, I worked retail and gained valuable skills needed for customer service. 

I am currently enrolled at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville as a Psychology major and Biology minor. I will attain my bachelors in 2027. I previously received my high school diploma in 2022 from Hazelwood West High.
