Description

Duties:


  • Leads development teams to determine the final technical specifications required to meet the functional requirements.
  • Manages, reviews, creates, maintains, tests and utilize usecase models for business or clinical health care information. This could include process modeling and object modeling.
  • Manages the creation of and reviews of technical documentation such as data migration plans, schedules, and user and technical manuals.
  • Facilitating crossfunctional and crossteam planning sessions to ensure integration of critical path integration activities.
  • Leads complex technical sessions to coordinate crossfunctional or enterprisewide integration efforts.
  • Assists in providing technical support to the various teams involved in integration of OEHRM software solutions.
  • Provides technical support to customers who need assistance utilizing clientlevel hardware and software in accordance with established or approved organizational process components.
  • Leads development of information systems testing strategies, plans, or scenarios working with project stakeholders, including Test and Software Quality Assurance Services representatives.
  • Acts as a national resource person for the specifically assigned project and attends national meetings, conferences, etc., both within and outside the VA, to gather and to disseminate information about the products' development and integration processes.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Physical Demands:

Work is primarily sedentary, The work is sedentary, but may involve periods of walking, bending, stooping, lifting, carrying, moving (up to 50 pounds) components and supplies, reaching, pulling, and working at a keyboard and monitor.

Experience

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT.
