    About Emerge:

    Emerge is a well-established multi-family Property Management firm that manages various apartment communities in Texas and Florida. We are committed to providing great value to our partners, properties, and residents.

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Emerge. The Assistant Property Manager role involves supporting the Property Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. This includes collecting payments, managing accounting tasks, processing invoices, preparing financial reports, and tracking all financial activities of the community.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily financial transactions by collecting rent, fees, and other payments.
    • Handle daily bank deposits.
    • Review resident accounts for outstanding balances and enforce lease agreements.
    • Follow eviction procedures and represent the community in court when necessary.
    • Coordinate resident move-outs and ensure compliance with lease terms.
    • Address resident inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance satisfaction.
    • Manage daily operations in the absence of the community manager.
    • Assist in maintaining client relationships and providing updates on the community's performance.
    • Contribute to marketing and leasing efforts to maintain occupancy levels.
    • Implement resident retention programs.

    Required Skills/Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as an assistant property manager.
    • Strong understanding of property management and financial principles.
    • Knowledge of property management regulations.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and property management software.
    • Customer-focused with good communication skills.
    • Organized with excellent time management abilities.

    Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

    Experience with property management software (RealPage, Yardi, Resman, etc.)

    1-2 years' experience as an Assistant Property Manager

    Strong customer service orientation and initiative

    Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word and Excel

    • Experience in leasing operations and property marketing.
