    Job DescriptionSalary: $16.50/hr

    Merits Health Products is looking for positive, motivated, and well-spoken representatives to join our sales team as Inside Sales Representatives. The primary responsibilities are interacting with customers by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, building rapport, and looking for opportunities to guide customers with their purchases, The Inside Sales Rep provides a higher level of customer support and works with the retailers, the specialists, and the online vendors to help ensure a smooth sales process. Please note this is NOT A CALL CENTER. There are no set quotas, no timed calls, etc.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

    • Answering incoming calls, making outbound calls, and following up on leads.
    • Understanding customers' needs.
    • Using knowledge of specific products, services, or other assigned areas of expertise to answer inquiries, send additional information, and enter quotes/orders.
    • Accurately maintaining customer and potential accounts and records of customer interactions including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
    • Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
    • Maintaining customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments; escalating issues as needed.
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the Inside Sales team's work areas.
    • Following company safety policies and participating in Safety Training as required.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and can read, write, and speak English.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
    • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Problem-solving skills are needed.
    • A willingness to work overtime, arrive early, and/or stay late according to business / project needs.
    • Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record.
    • Must have an employment record free and clear of any serious infarctions including, but not limited to, a history free and clear of limitations which may cause/may have caused safety concerns, issues, incidents and/or accidents.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

    Educational Requirements: A high school diploma with at least one (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of closely related experience, education, and/or training.

    Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time; frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to safely lift or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
