Job Title: Sr SFDC Developer

Department: 8100 - IT

Position Overview:

Insulet, makers of the OmniPod pump for Type 1 Diabetes, is one of the fastest growing medical device companies in the industry and we are expanding our SFDC Development team Insulet has been a SFDC customer for many years, and as a result, leverages many of the features provided by SFDC. This role is a great opportunity to engage in project delivery across a broad range of elements such as Service cloud, Health cloud, Marketing cloud, IoT cloud, Communities, Einstein analytics, etc. Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Insulet's Commercial functions through the implementation of new SFDC solutions, maintenance of existing functions and contributing to our enterprise integration program. The Senior SFDC Developer will focus on projects and processes related to our mobile/web community, call center support, marketing automation, data management, and sales/field rep modules. The ideal candidate will have SFDC administrator and developer certification, along with several years of applied use of these skills. A background working with webservices and/or middleware software is a strong plus as well.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom solutions on Salesforce platform using Apex, Aura, LWC, and Visualforce
Develop and support new apps using lightning framework external users in Experience Cloud
Support on-going production Global SFDC instances for business continuity
Maintain proper documentation for work flow processes, list of values, migration plans, and standard operating procedures in accordance with business requirements.
Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solution choices, determining trade-offs and impact analysis
Support Insulet's enterprise integration program. Work with integration leads on processes moving data between Salesforce and other third party solutions such as marketing automation or ERP.
Communicate effectively with IT leaders and/or business users on the status of enhancements, projects and open production support tickets.
Occasional off-hour support of production applications/processes should issues arise outside of business hours

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years working as a SFDC developer working on Sales, Service and Community clouds
Strong knowledge of custom Salesforce development including Apex, Aura, Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, basic administration, reporting and general design concepts.
Expert in Aura and LWC frameworks, particularly for developing custom lightning components on our SFDC Community pages
Expertise in DevOps best practices, CI/CD and deployment for an IT organization of enterprise scale, either with Salesforce specific tools like Copado or Git, Bamboo etc.
Experience building webservices using SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
API integration skills working with middleware platforms such as Mulesoft
Knowledge of any Object-Oriented Programming language (java or .net) is required.

Good understanding of OAUTH2 and other security/encryption best practices
MS in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

Domestic travel may be required less than 5% of the time.
Infrequent weekend/offhours work will occur for implementation go-live or support when needed.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93, $140, Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
