- Assess first and third party pre-litigation and litigation automobile claims for coverage and settlements
- Negotiate favorable outcomes with legal entities and individuals, respond to demand letters, and provide evaluations on assigned cases
- Conduct research and analyze case-specific legal matters and documentation like insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases, laws, and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams, departments, and external counsel on assigned issues to safeguard and lessen risks for the Company
- Aid in creating internal policies, guidelines, toolkits, and job-aids to minimize risks
- Cooperate with managers and supervisors in the Claim Department
- Maintain an efficient and structured operation
- Perform other assigned duties
- Juris Doctorate Degree
- Potential for advancement into a management position
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities
- Experience in negotiation, either professional or personal
- Proficient in technology use
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Responsible and conscientious nature with the ability to expedite claims processing
- Capability to learn and specialize in insurance coverage and policy contracts
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
