    Join us Purpose Of Job Independently responsible for leading the Product Team through customer-focused insights and research to drive product lifecycle management, product commercialization ("Go to Market"), and innovation resulting in profitable growth across all product lines.

    Job Components

    Responsible for delivering enterprise profitable product growth across all Interstate branded product line segments, including Identifying and quantify market and industry dynamics, consumer behavior and competitive changes
    Responsible for driving a disciplined, structured approach to Interstate's Product and Assortment Strategy, through a Line Review process, to ensure unique positioning in the market that meets the needs of our customers and consumers by channel as well as internal business goals
    Drive execution excellence in implementing Portfolio changes, addressing all downstream stakeholders, within Interstate as well as external customers

    Drive ongoing business review and continuous improvement processes, including but not limited to consumer and dealer insights, sales and margin performance at the part and tier level and monitoring of portfolio strategy and product lifecycle management.

    This includes recommendations corrective action plans based on results versus plan
    Foster collaborative environment for the team in partnership with Supplier Quality, Procurement/Suppliers, Account Management/Sales, Marketing, Distributor Operations, Finance and Revenue Management
    Collaborate with sales team and the business to provide accurate and timely insight into the consumer/customer needs, portfolio simplification and new product ideas
    Responsible for ensuring all parts in our system have accurate product master data
    Ownership of Product level marketing elements for the Interstate Branded portfolio. This includes product performance claims and Features & Benefits
    Understands the market needs, identifies gaps in our offering and uses feedback to recommend to the team portfolio changes
    Lead the assessment of product opportunities and innovation through business case assessment, size of the opportunity quantification, concept testing, implication to the business and target channel (redundant to line review)

    In partnership with Supplier Quality and Engineering, own the Product testing and performance requirements standards for IB Branded parts, in support of all Product marketing claims.

    Effectively communicate Product and Portfolio related topics (strategic and tactical) across every level of Interstate and downstream customers.
    Qualifications

    Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience in marketing or related field is required for the position, MBA preferred
    Minimum of 8-10 years experience
    Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
    Cultivates an environment of innovation
    Strong analytics background, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically. Experience in SAP, Power BI preferred
    Action oriented
    Project Management experience
    Proven track record of developing teams
    Experience collaborating and working with a cross-functional team
    Strong problem solver with the ability to think outside the box
    Able to work independently with proper levels of prioritization and follow through
