Social Pedagogue for the Counseling Center Stuttgart Mühlhausen, Münster Hallschlag (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a state-recognized social pedagogue (m/f/d) to join the Youth Welfare Office of the state capital Stuttgart.

The position is permanent and available as soon as possible.

The Counseling Center Stuttgart Mühlhausen, Münster, Hallschlag consists of an interdisciplinary team, with professionals from the fields of social pedagogy/social work, administration, and psychology. This team ensures the psychosocial basic care for citizens between the ages of 0 and 63 in Stuttgart Mühlhausen, Münster, and Hallschlag.

This position is assigned to the General Social Services.

Your main tasks:

General social and life counseling for families, young people, and single individuals
Counseling for mothers, fathers, and children/adolescents in matters of upbringing, custody, and visitation
Separation and divorce counseling, including participation in family court proceedings
Counseling, mediation, and involvement in the planning of assistance for child rearing
Ensuring child protection
Neighborhoodbased prevention and cooperation with other organizations, as well as planning and implementing projects with preventive objectives
Welcome visits
Youth welfare in criminal proceedings
