    Description

    The Newmark Data Center & Digital Infrastructure Investment Banking team is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join their New York office. The team consists of professionals from diverse real estate/digital infrastructure backgrounds, with a strong track record of executing $35+ billion in transactions.

    The Data Center & Digital Infrastructure team specializes in capital formation and strategic advisory for data center & digital infrastructure owner/operators. They handle various types of transactions globally, offering expertise in debt/equity placement, leases, and more. As an Analyst/Associate, you will play a crucial role in all stages of transactions, from underwriting to closings, in a dynamic environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Create pitch materials and offering memoranda for data center & digital infrastructure transactions, including research and financial modeling.
    • Conduct detailed financial modeling for property cash flows and structures, using market data to underwrite transactions accurately.
    • Review and comprehend various documents to extract key information efficiently.
    • Build networks within the industry and track transaction comps for new opportunities.
    • Participate in pipeline meetings to discuss deal flow, market conditions, and client leads.
    • Other assigned duties.

    Experience Required

    • 1-3 years experience in real estate, data center, or infrastructure, preferably in investment banking or related areas.
    • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proactive with exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
    • Strong writing skills for analytical and marketing purposes.
    • Capable of working independently and collaboratively.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or relevant field.
    • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
