The Bavarian State Theatre is currently seeking part-time stage technicians (m/f/d) for the Residenztheater and Marstall stages.


As one of the leading German theatres, the Bavarian State Theatre has three performance venues (Residenztheater, Cuvilliéstheater, and Marstall) and approximately 450 employees.

We offer a diverse and attractive workplace in the center of Munich.


Your profile:
You have experience working with wood and metal.

Ideally, you have completed a vocational training or have several years of experience in a similar profession, such as stage construction, trade fair construction, event technology, or carpentry.


Your responsibilities:


Your tasks will include setting up and dismantling stage decorations for theatre performances and rehearsals, executing transformations during performances and intermissions, and repairing stage decorations.

You will also be responsible for transportation tasks.


Due to the physically demanding and sometimes safety-sensitive tasks involved in stage operations, as well as the irregular working hours, we value resilience, caution, teamwork, manual dexterity, flexibility, and absolute reliability as important qualities for working with us.

The work is shift-based, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The employment contract is based on the collective agreement for public service employees of the federal states (TV-L). The employment contracts for part-time stage technicians are temporary and can be arranged on a part-time basis.
