Job Description:
Cook in Foresta, CA

Duties:


  • Prepare and cook simple dishes such as salads, pancakes, sausage, eggs, pasta, and fresh or frozen vegetables.
  • Make hot cereals, broiled meats, concentrated or dehydrated soups, sauces, and gravies, and cold and hot sandwich fillings.
  • Cook convenience items like frozen hash browns, fish fillets, and chicken nuggets.
  • Peel, chop, grind, pare, cut, slice, dice, puree, dredge, flour, or bread food items.
  • Weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients for regular menu items.
  • Set up and replenish salad bar.
  • Portion foods for distribution and meal service.
  • Wash and clean kitchen equipment.
  • Mix ingredients according to written recipes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:


Conditions of Employment:


  • Must pass a background investigation.
  • Must be physically present in Germany before receiving a final job offer.
  • Must obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler's training.
  • Must be able to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special situations.
  • Must pass a preemployment physical.

Qualifications:


  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal U.S. resident in Germany.
  • Must be able to verify ability to arrive before receiving a firm job offer.
  • Must have experience in food preparation and presentation.
