THE ROLE:

The Public Relations Manager + Copy Writer is responsible for overseeing the corporate image and messaging while increasing brand awareness.

The individual will work closely with the Marketing team, Executive Leadership, Customer + Brand Image, Division Leadership, and external agencies build the corporate messaging, campaigns, leadership communication, responses creating consistent and effective communication.

Develops and maintains important relationships with media professionals, find press opportunities, and leverage our brand story across the ever-expanding digital landscape.


DAY IN THE LIFE:


  • Build the Public Relations strategy to align with brand values, enhance presence and penetration, create awareness, tell the TJH story, and drive traffic to TJH website and sponsored events
  • Oversee and manage all public relations campaigns whether internally created or by outside partners
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists/ members of the media
  • Identify and develop timely and newsworthy story ideas, tailored pitches, press materials, and other materials to maximize earned media coverage.
  • Research and write press materials, news stories, speaking points, statements, internal questions, and answer documents.
  • Develops organization's point of view to its main audience through media press releases and interview with internal and external communications
  • Compose and write postings, speeches, scripts, internal communication for senior organizational leaders
  • Monitor, track, and analyze all media coverage to ascertain the most effective mediums, sites, and papers to determine net impact, readership, and response rate
  • Recommends ways to enhance the firms image on the basis of trends
  • Monitors social, economic, and political trends that might affect the organization
  • Creates memos to send to staff notifying them of onsite press, commercial shoots, location, and technical scouts etc.
  • Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers
  • Researching industry, products, services, branding, and marketing to develop best practice to integrate
  • Works closely with marketing teams to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and articulate messaging
  • Developing and maintaining the brand voice and tone and target audience
  • Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices in copywriting
  • Commands a full understanding of media needs and media relationships

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:


  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing with a PR or Advertising concentration
  • Real Estate experience and knowledge desired
  • Financial Services, Finance, Investing industry experience a plus
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce a plus
  • Knowledge of core markets, LA in particular.

  • Ability to develop materials in short time frame meeting all requirements and quality expectations
  • Demonstrates strong statistical analysis skills and ability to synthesize large quantities of data and translate data into insights and key findings.
  • Ability to confidently communicate and present information
  • Proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with an advanced attention to detail
  • The ability to keep information confidential


The compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
