    Job DescriptionSalary: $21-$23 Hourly

    Edison Home Health Care - is seeking an Intake Specialist to join its growing team. This role will work closely with other departments of our company to ensure timely and accurate billing process. We are searching for a great communicator who is customer service oriented and focused on providing an excellent experience for our new patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Daily use of HHA Exchange Software.
    • Entering patients information into E-Pace to verify eligibility.
    • Familiar with major insurances.
    • Obtaining authorizations from MLTC and enter them into HHA Exchange.
    • Follow up on any authorization denials/discrepancies.
    • Submit patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Ensure all/any pre-billing issues are corrected.
    • Monitor attendance entries daily.
    • Monitor patients Medicaid eligibility and discharged cases.
    • Ensure effective communication to all relevant departments for cases.
    • Other duties as assigned or as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent - Required.
    • At least a year of experience in an office environment - Required.
    • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Able to coordinate multiple activities concurrently.
    • Bilingual - Preferred but Not Required
