    Job Listing: House Manager/Intake Specialist

    Company: Highland Park CDC

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The House Manager/Intake Specialist oversees the direct care of residents, manages the intake process, and collaborates with the security department to ensure client safety in the facility.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    1. Supervises staff, including training and evaluating performance.
    2. Participates in group training sessions for first aid and security techniques.
    3. Facilitates the intake process for incoming residents following DHS guidelines.
    4. Maintains the house log, handles incident reports, and mediates client disputes.
    5. Conducts regular unit and building inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
    6. Responds to emergencies and interfaces with public service entities.
    7. Conducts fire drills, informs staff of safety procedures, and reports maintenance needs.
    8. Coordinates with housekeeping for consumer needs and attends meetings.
    9. Assists Security guards and conducts house meetings.
    10. Performs other duties and special projects assigned by management.

    ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Minimum Required Education & Experience:
      • HS Diploma or GED
      • 2 years of supervisory/management experience
      • Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Fire Safety Coordinator
