We are a team of digital experts based in Edmonton, KY, and we are currently seeking a Cloud Advisor to join our global FinOps unit.


At Nordcloud, we are passionate about using agile, cloud-native methods to help our clients fully utilize the potential of the public cloud.

This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark on the European IT industry.


In this role, you will provide expert guidance on all aspects of cloud costs, from governance and business process optimization to cost efficiency, modeling, and ownership. You will use best practices to design and implement services that give our clients financial control over their public cloud environment, and provide recommendations for optimizing cloud usage to maximize savings.


You will collaborate with governance teams in cloud security and infrastructure engineering, both within Nordcloud and with our clients, as well as building and maintaining strategic relationships with hyperscalers.


Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Clevel executives in our client organizations
  • Assisting our clients in defining their cloud strategy and aligning it with their business goals, while analyzing and adjusting their FinOpsrelated cloud governance processes
  • Promoting the cloud operating model and advising on procurement processes and consumption methods (e.g. contracting, OPEX vs CAPEX)
  • Creating and maintaining visibility of cloud usage, providing summaries and detailed usage statistics for resources across multiple public cloud platforms
  • Working closely with financial and billing teams on budgets, forecasts, show backs, and chargebacks
