The municipality of Halstenbek (approx. inhabitants) with the recreational area Krupunder See is located in a scenic location on the outskirts of Hamburg. The motorway and suburban train offer optimal transport connections to the city center of Hamburg.

All general education schools with corresponding sports facilities as well as kindergartens under their own and external sponsorship are located in the area.

Two libraries and a youth center complete the offer.

The open all-day schools "An der Bek" (primary and secondary school) as well as the "Wolfgang-Borchert-Gymnasium" of the municipality of Halstenbek, run by the municipality itself, are looking for you for a voluntary program after school from
approx pm, to which students (m/f/d) can register for participation.
