Job Description:


We are looking to fill the position part-time (20 hours/week) in Seabrook, SC starting immediately and initially limited until December 31, 2023.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Support the team of our project "Trainings for the psychosocial support of refugee children and families" with general administrative tasks such as organizing trainings and other project events, managing registrations for trainings, organizing documents and folders, small translation and research tasks, and filing
  • Support selected emergency project teams in implementing logistical, administrative, or contentrelated tasks (work packages)
  • Assist in organizing and conducting internal and external events
  • Support the creation of presentations and communication materials, as well as the layout of reports and other documents
  • Assist in creating and maintaining website content to showcase the work of Save the Children in Germany

Your Skills and Experience:


  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in social sciences, political sciences, communication sciences, or another relevant field, such as content management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in writing texts of various genres
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to accurately prepare texts
  • Knowledge of editing and processing photo, audio, and video material
  • Previous experience working with content management systems, preferably TYPO3, or willingness to learn is desirable
  • Ideally, you have basic knowledge in the areas of child rights, migration and displacement
