Your Responsibilities

  • You will commission machines, special machines and systems worldwide, with 65% travel activity
  • On site, you will carry out inspections of the installation before commissioning and troubleshoot any malfunctions, if necessary with the involvement of the back office in Germany
  • You will check the documentation and point out possible errors and problems
  • You will start up machines or systems for trial operation and accompany this process
  • In addition, you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and work on control cabinets when errors occur
  • Finally, you will provide technical training to the onsite personnel and handle interactions with the customer's employees, including those from different cultural backgrounds, in a skilled and diplomatic manner

Your Skills

  • You have successfully completed your engineering degree in electrical engineering / automation technology or are a technician with relevant experience
  • During your professional career, you have gained extensive experience in PLC programming, visualization and commissioning
  • You preferably have knowledge of Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal and WinCC / WinCC flexible or other PLC / visualization tools
  • You are able to communicate effectively in English. Good knowledge of German and/or other languages is an advantage
  • You have a selfmotivated and independent work style
  • You are willing to travel extensively
