The junior professorship in the Department of Economics, Section Politics-Law-Economics, is limited to a maximum of 6 years and is to be filled from October 1, 2023.

The University of Konstanz is one of eleven universities of excellence in Germany and has been funded since 2007 in the Excellence Initiative and its successor program, the Excellence Strategy of the Federal Government and the States.

We are looking for candidates with an outstanding research agenda, especially in the areas of Labor Economics, Public Economics, and all related fields.

The requirements for junior professorships are based on § 51 paragraphs 2 and 3 of the State Higher Education Act.
