As a laboratory technician in Bishop Hills, TX, you possess the skill and dexterity to handle samples under a microscope and examine human materials.

Your keen observation and attention to detail are utilized when observing experimental processes, and your technical understanding allows you to operate testing equipment and laboratory facilities.

With care and responsibility, you prepare specimens and culture media, and work independently in conducting and analyzing experiments in the laboratory.

You receive and prepare samples, calculate the necessary amounts of chemicals, and operate measuring devices. In areas such as biochemistry, microbiology, and medicine, you set up experimental arrangements and analyze measurement results.

In consultation with your superiors, you conduct experiments and test series with cell cultures and microorganisms using physical and chemical measurement methods.

You also use computers to record experimental protocols, document the results of your investigations, perform calculations and statistical analyses.
